The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the notification for the Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025 under the Agnipath Scheme only for UNMARRIED INDIAN MALE AND FEMALE CANDIDATES from all the districts of all States and all Union Territories of India to join the IAF as Agniveervayu (Musician).

Music Proficiency– Accurate tempo, pitch, and ability to sing a full song. – Read music notation: Staff, Tablature, Tonic Solfa, Hindustani, Carnatic, etc.
Instrument SkillMust play at least one instrument from: • List A (Wind/Brass)List B (String/Percussion/Indian Classical) (Desirable: One from each list)
Experience (any one)1. Grade 5 or above from music institute (TCL, RSM, Berklee, etc.) 2. Diploma in Hindustani/Carnatic from recognized university 3. Certificate of participation/awards from music events

🛡 Selection Procedure

1. Proficiency TestCandidates perform musical tasks to assess skill level and tempo/pitch accuracy.
2. English Written TestObjective-type test based on Class 10 English syllabus. Duration: 30 mins.
3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)Includes 1.6 km run in 7 mins, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats (Male); criteria differ for Female.
4. Adaptability Test-IIAssesses adaptability to military lifestyle and environment.
5. Medical ExaminationStandard IAF medical tests including height, weight, vision, and overall health.
