The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 02/2025 notification, inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens to join as Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. A total of 284 vacancies are available for courses commencing in July 2026.

20 to 24 years (Relaxable up to 26 for CPL holders)
10+2 with 50% in Physics & Math + Graduation with 60% or BE/B.Tech
Ground Duty (Technical)
20 to 26 years
10+2 with 50% in Physics & Math + 4-year degree in Engg/Tech with 60%
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
20 to 26 years
Graduation with 60% (specific branches have additional PG/B.Com requirements)
Meteorology
20 to 26 years
PG in relevant Science subjects with 50% + Graduation with Physics & Math (55%)
NCC Special Entry
As per Flying Branch age criteria
