The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has strongly refuted recent claims about the alleged leakage of board exam question papers for 2025. The board has clarified that these allegations are entirely baseless and are being circulated to create unnecessary fear among students and parents.

CBSE’s Official Statement

In an official statement, CBSE said,

“The board has made comprehensive arrangements for the smooth and fair conduct of examinations. It has come to our notice that certain unscrupulous elements are spreading rumors on YouTube, Facebook, ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), and other social media platforms about the alleged leak of question papers or access to the 2025 exam papers. These claims are false and are intended to mislead students and parents.”

Action Against Misinformation

To curb the spread of misinformation, CBSE is working alongside law enforcement agencies to track down those responsible. The board has warned that individuals involved in spreading fake news will face legal consequences. Additionally, students have been advised not to engage in such activities, as it could lead to disciplinary action under CBSE’s Unfair Means regulations and applicable legal provisions.

Follow Only Verified Sources

CBSE urges students, parents, and educators to rely only on official announcements available on the board’s website (www.cbse.gov.in) or through verified communication channels. Unverified information from unofficial sources should be ignored to prevent confusion and unnecessary panic.

Board Exam Schedule and Updates

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams commenced on February 15, 2025, and will conclude by April 4, 2025. Over 4.4 million students from 8,000+ schools across India and abroad are taking part in these examinations. CBSE reassures students that all necessary precautions have been taken to maintain the integrity of the examination process.

Students are advised to focus on their studies, avoid misinformation, and trust only CBSE’s official updates. The board is committed to conducting fair and secure examinations.
